I went to CTN last weekend, met a lot of cool and inspirational people, and listened to some of them give talks. The golden nugget of inspiration that stuck with me was an interview of Carlos Nine - he pulled out a folio filled with mindless doodles, most of which he had created while on the phone. He described these doodles as representative of his identity as an artist, the dictionary of the language in which he worked.
I'm learning so much this semester, and struggling with my identity as artist. Nine described himself as a worker who creates images. I have to leave to catch a bus now.
